Butterflies and Better Writing!
Our second graders in Mrs. Holcomb’s and Miss Sattman’s classrooms have been busy learning how to become stronger writers! Students are practicing how to organize their writing with an introduction, facts and details, and a conclusion as they write about butterflies.
We are so proud of our young authors as they learn to share their ideas, include important information, and bring their writing to a strong finish!

Character Trait Celebrations!

Our character trait for September was RESPECT! Students who demonstrated leadership in their classrooms by showing respect were invited to attend our very first Bucket Filler celebration this week! We will continue celebrating on Fridays and also enjoy a special lunch together to recognize students who set a positive example for others.

Our character trait for October is RESPONSIBILITY! We can’t wait to see which students lead by taking responsibility for their actions, choices, and learning. We look forward to celebrating these students and recognizing the wonderful ways they make a difference in our school! 💛
