The future of manufacturing starts with hands-on learning!

Moberly Area Community College was proud to be part of Manufacturing Day with High School's entire freshman class, helping students explore the technology, skills and educational pathways that lead to in-demand careers right here in our communities.

During their visit to MACC, students got hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems while learning about career-ready programs like Mechatronics, Computer Networking and IT Systems. They also learned about the Missouri A+ Scholarship Program, which can help eligible students cover tuition for their first two years of community college.

🎨🎼Join us for a fun-filled, hands-on art experience featuring music, Halloween-themed art activities, free face painting, a chalk contest, and more!

This event is FREE and open to everyone! Kids can print their own canvas trick-or-treat bags to take home and fill with treats, plus enjoy spooky creative activities like pumpkin painting, skeleton projects, and ceramics.

Tie-dye will also be available for a small additional cost.

Come create, celebrate, and make some spooky memories together!🎃👻

A 7:30 a.m. class got a real-world perspective last week! 👏

Moberly Area Community College’s Intro to Business students welcomed Ben Hughes, CEO of Moberly Regional Medical Center, for a conversation about what today’s employers are looking for — from recruiting and internships to AI in healthcare and the skills that matter most in the workplace.

One message that stood out: the power of being able to communicate.

We appreciate Ben taking the time to share his experience and insight with our students. Guest speakers like this bring the classroom to life and give students a closer look at what’s happening beyond campus.
