It’s National Nonprofit Day! The MACC Foundation is a nonprofit that exists to support and advance Moberly Area Community College.

In 2025-26, the Foundation awarded over $80,000 in scholarships to MACC students and $6500 in faculty and staff mini-grants, along with providing additional resources to strengthen the college community. These efforts help ensure students have the support they need to succeed.

Some new MACC students will be FLYING into their future!

✈️ MACC Takes Flight with New Aviation Commercial Pilot Program

MACC and the City of Columbia celebrated the ribbon cutting for MACC’s new Aviation Commercial Pilot Training Center at the former Columbia Regional Airport terminal—marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the space and for aviation education in our region.

What was once a vacant terminal is now a launchpad for the next generation of commercial pilots. The inaugural class of 16 students will begin training this fall, combining college coursework with hands-on flight training through MACC’s partnership with ATD Flight Systems.

This celebration represents so much more than a new program. It’s a strong partnership between MACC and the City of Columbia, a renewed purpose for a familiar community space, and a new pathway for students pursuing careers in aviation. 🚀✈️

We’re proud to see this vision take flight—and even more excited to see where our students go from here!

MACC is honored to share an announcement of a generous donation.

MACC has received a transformational gift of nearly $4 million from the Harold J. Robertson and Laura J. Robertson Living Trust—one of the largest private contributions in the College’s history.

This incredible investment will help expand opportunities for students and strengthen programs at the Hannibal campus, honoring a legacy rooted in education and community impact.

College leaders say the gift will shape the future in meaningful, lasting ways—and planning is already underway to ensure it makes the greatest difference.
