GCHS 2025-2026 SENIOR AWARDS NIGHT.
Join us as we honor the outstanding accomplishments of the Class of 2026 during our annual Senior Awards Night. We will be announcing recipients of CTE and local scholarships, as well as recognizing achievements in academics, activities, and athletics. Additionally, we will celebrate students who have been awarded scholarships from various colleges and universities.

We are proud of the Class of 2026 and invite you to be part of this special evening as we celebrate their hard work, dedication, and success.

GCHS 2026 SENIORS- The Moab Chamber of Commerce has extended their deadline for their local scholarship application. The new deadline is April 24th at 3pm. You are cordially invited to attend your High School Sophomore’s College and Career Readiness meeting. Mr. Cook prefers to meet with all Sophomores during 4th quarter to ensure that they have the best opportunity for a successful Junior year.
At this time, we will:
*Check your child’s credit evaluation and ensure that he/she is on track to graduate.
*Set up classes for senior year. Look at Career Pathways and discuss post High School options.
* Preparation for Post-Secondary Education

Check out this scholarship available for Trade/Tech careers (list of qualifying carriers included in the “About Scholarship” link). If you don’t see your career on the list, ask a CTE teacher if they think your career choice might qualify.

Please reach out with any questions to me or any of your CTE teachers. The scholarships vary in amount each year but in general 5 to 8 scholarships are offered and often are $2,000 to $3,000.

Good afternoon GCHS 9th grade student, parents/guardians
My name is Ms. Strate and I am the new school counselor for the 7th-9th grade students. Each year students and their parents/guardians meet with the school counselor for a college and career readiness (CCR) meeting. The purpose of a CCR meeting is to talk about and set a plan for your student’s future high school, college, and career goals. The main focus of this meeting in 9th grade is to prepare students for their 10th grade year. During this meeting we will check in on graduation progress and work to request potential classes your student may be interested in taking during sophomore year of high school. Each meeting will be about 45 minutes long.
It is highly recommended that parents/guardians are a part of these meetings so you can be aware of what classes your student needs to be taking to graduate from high school and what classes they can potentially take their sophomore year.
Please use the attached scheduler to make an appointment. Appointments are available during the week from Monday-Wednesday starting on March 9th.
