Every second Tuesday of the month, we donate 5% of the day’s proceeds to an organization doing important work in our community.

Join us tomorrow, September 8th to support the Grand County Education Foundation!

The Grand County Education Foundation’s mission is to seek out funding to support activities and programs that are offered to Grand County K-12 students to strengthen their academic, social, emotional, and physical well-being.

The GCEF is organized as a public charity and recognized as a 501(c)(3), tax exempt entity. Their top priority is the implementation of programs, equipment, and materials that will have an immediate impact on all students in the Grand County School District.

The GCEF feels that all students deserve the tools, resources, and experiences that will inspire and prepare them for a better future, and wants our our students of Grand County to leave our schools socially aware, culturally sensitive, academically proficient, and economically viable citizens of our community.

Funding from the 5% Day will be utilized for:

• Academic activities and athletic programs
• Arts and music programs
• Scholarships
• Supporting school libraries
• Homeschooling needs
• Supporting major school or classroom projects
• Recruiting volunteers to assist children
• Offering teacher recognition
• And more!

Last night we had the honor of presenting two college scholarships to high school seniors. Blake Coleman and Kimber McCandless! Congratulations and best wishes to the Grand County Class of 2026!

Grand County High School Seniors!
We are pleased to have 2 scholarships to award this year.
1. Trade Program Scholarship
Awarded to a student enrolled in a post‑secondary program that provides hands‑on training in a specific trade.

2. College or University Scholarship
Awarded to a student who plans to attend a college or university in Fall 2026.
