Which of these mid-line knots is Incorrectly tied? In a recent training the participants had 20 seconds to identify the incorrectly tied butterfly knot. Of the many ways to tie this correctly it is surprisingly easy to tie incorrect, and without being able to manipulate the knot to thoroughly inspect, it can be difficult to see the mistake.
