✨ Looking for a designated preschool program and/or afternoon childcare for your 3,4,5 year old? Enrollment is open for Moab Community Childcare’s preschool center. Your kiddo can integrate any time this summer, and school starts Monday August 31st.

Our second year of our designated preschool program is open for enrollment! This year was a fun, exciting, and impressive first school year for our community and we can’t wait to start it all again at the end of the summer!

This week (6/8-12) is summer break for MCC centers! Our classrooms are empty, toys are tucked away, and our teachers are taking a much deserved time away from work.

Behind the scenes, we are also deep cleaning and organizing our centers so they will be reset and ready for our fun summer programming!

We hope everyone is enjoying the week off, and are spending it with family and friends. ☀️💤

☀️PART 3: To finish off our graduation week, our preschoolers headed to a local park for a fun filled field day! After an exciting morning at the garden, the kids got to spend the afternoon running, playing games and laughing with friends.

this special week was all about celebrating the incredible year our preschoolers had together and creating joyful memories with their classmates, teachers and families before heading into summer and kindergarten adventures ahead.

A huge, thank you again to our preschool team 💕 for all the work, energy, and love they put into making this week, so meaningful and memorable for our families. We are so proud of our preschoolers and everything they accomplished this year! ☀️

🪴PART 2: Our next graduation week celebration brought our preschoolers on an unforgettable field trip to the wonderful Youth Garden Project! Our classes spent the morning, exploring the gardens, learning outdoors, and participating in hands-on experiential education activities.

A huge thank you to our amazing three-year-old teacher, Cali, a previous YGP instructor, who let our preschoolers and chaperones are such a fun, engaging, and educational experience from exploring the garden spaces to learning about plants, nature and the environment our preschoolers had the best time learning through play and discovery.

🎓 PART 1: What a special way to wrap up our very first annual preschool year at MCC! This week, our preschool team put together a series of fun filled events to celebrate all the growth, learning, friendships, and hard work, our preschoolers accomplished this year. We are so grateful for the incredible teachers who poured so much time, creativity, and care into making this week meaningful for our kiddos and families.

We kicked things off with our preschool graduation celebration held in the backyard of our center! Families gathered for a beautiful afternoon filled with songs, sweet moments together, cake, and celebration as we honored our preschool is moving onto kindergarten. Watching these kiddos shine and celebrate. All they have accomplished was incredibly special for our community . Congratulations kiddos. We are so proud of you! 🎓

📚As we near the end of our preschool year and curriculm wraps up, we wanted to take a moment to highlight one of our favorite experiences from this spring:

This year, we partnered with Seekhaven Moab to host their Youth Body Safety & Awareness Program at our preschool center. Their amazing Youth Prevention Coordinator led a meaningful parent and family education night, followed by a 6-week book series and classroom lessons with both of our preschool classes.

We are so grateful for opportunities like this that help us support not only Moab children’s learning and development, but also keep caregivers and families in the conversation. Thank you to for the important work you do in our community and for partnering with us this spring! 📚
