WEATHER ALERT FOR TUESDAY, FEB. 11 — Due to expected inclement weather, all schools and offices will dismiss two hours early on Tuesday, February 11.

Designated PGCPS emergency personnel are required to remain on duty and should follow their assigned work schedules based on the operational needs of their department.

-Vendor-managed care programs will remain open until 4 p.m.
-Half-day Early Childhood Centers and Special Education Programs will be closed.
-All field trips, activities, and athletic events are canceled.

Families of Pre-K through first-grade students who ride the bus should make arrangements to be at the bus stop to receive their child at the adjusted drop-off time.

Good morning Woodmore families!!!

This years Field day has a very special and unique opportunity- a service project! We have partnered with ISeeYou foundation, which was started and is run by a former Woodmore student's family.

Students will put together personal hygiene kits for the homeless. Below is what we are asking for in terms of donation. ALL ITEMS MUST BE NEW AND UNOPENED. Most can be purchased at the dollar store, however feel free to purchase items at costco/Sam's Club if you are able so we can have more than enough items for each student to make several kits.

Here is what we are asking for:
- Wipes
-Toothpaste (4 or 5 oz)
- Tooth brush
- Socks
- Palmolive (or similar) soap bar
- Deodorant (geared towards men)
- Hand Sanitizer (personal size)
-Tissues (personal size)
-Wash cloths
-Travel size lotion
- Travel size shampoo

We will collect through May 29th. We really need as many donations as possible! All students who donate will receive 1 dress down pass!

Thank you in advance for helping those in need, and making our 1st service project @ field day a success!

If you would prefer to shop on amazon, I've made a list of items we could use. I do believe shopping in person would be cheaper/a more "rewarding" experience for students 🙂

Good Morning Woodmore Families,

I hope that you had an enjoyable Spring Break! We look forward to welcoming all of our students back as we start the 4th and final quarter this year on Wednesday, April 3rd. Please remember that tomorrow, Tuesday, April 2nd, is an asynchronous for students. The school is closed for students. Students should complete the assignments that teachers sent home before break and should be prepared to turn those assignments in to the teacher on Wednesday. The completion of those assignments will be used to determine attendance for tomorrow's asynchronous day.

FYI - Students do NOT have to wear a uniform this Wednesday for the class photo. They do have to follow normal school/county dress code rules, however (meaning this is not a spirit dress up day, no hats, no costumes, etc).

Also, we strongly encourage families to purchase class photos ahead of time online and NOT to send money/orders in with students on Wednesday. Here is the information...

PGCPS schools and offices will be closed Friday, January 19. There will be a two-hour delay for emergency personnel.

A decision on Saturday athletics and facilities use is forthcoming.

High School Visual and Performing Arts auditions will be rescheduled for Saturday, February 3.

For Wednesday, January 17, all schools and offices will open with a two-hour delay. A Code Orange is in effect for all employees. EMERGENCY PERSONNEL must report to work on time and are not eligible for liberal leave.

Additionally, all after school activities and athletics are canceled.

-All field trips will be canceled.
-Food Services will offer breakfast.
