Congratulations to Riley Mayer, Electrical Construction & Maintenance student, and Payten Nielsen, Architectural Design & Building Construction student, on accepting Build Dakota Double Edge full-ride scholarships with Summit Contracting, Inc!

Both Riley and Payten worked with Summit this summer, gaining valuable hands-on experience and building connections in their industries, and now they’re taking the next step toward their careers.

Meet Sifa Abiya, a Medical Laboratory Technology graduate from Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

When Sifa first came to Mitchell Tech, self-doubt nearly kept her from pursuing her education. But with the support of caring instructors and a welcoming community, she found the confidence to believe in herself and discover what she was truly capable of.

This fall, Sifa will begin her career as a Medical Laboratory Technologist, driven by a deeply personal mission to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.
