Before sharing this sad news I wanted to share a gratitude post about Mr. K. From my previous post
It is with very heavy hearts that we share our beloved principal, Mr. Justin Kowrach, will be moving on to a new opportunity for the 2026β2027 school year.
Mr. Kowrach has been selected to serve as the new principal of Rita Drabek Elementary School. While we are proud of this exciting opportunity for him, our Lantern Lane Elementary family is deeply saddened to see him go. His leadership, kindness, dedication, and unwavering support for our students, staff, and families have meant so much to our school community.
Mr. Kowrach has helped make Lantern Lane feel like home for so many. His impact will continue to be felt in our hallways, classrooms, and hearts for years to come. He has truly made Lantern Lane a special place, and his presence will be greatly missed by students, parents, and staff alike.
Please join us in congratulating Mr. Kowrach on this next chapter while also thanking him for everything he has poured into our Yellowjacket community. Once a Yellowjacket, always a Yellowjacket. ππ€
LANTERN LANE ELEMENTARY will miss you Mr. K
