We are a team of four 5th grade elementary students that won at the South East Texas Regional competition. Our journey isn't over — it's just beginning!
We are headed to compete in the International Competition, at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

All that hard work paid off!!! Our team took home several trophies. We won 1st place in overall Elementary division, 1st place in the obstacle course beating middle and high school teams and 4th place Overall, thus securing a spot at the International SeaPerch competition. Thea and Mila even got 3rd place in the academic competition.

We had to give a shout out to Astronaut Sunita Williams and were so glad that she reached home after spending over 9 months in space. It is not everyday that you get to meet a real astronaut!
