Safe Kids Missoula, a local Coalition of Safe Kids Worldwide, was established in 1991. It has been led by Foundation for Community Health since 2014. The Coalition includes more than 30 safety experts and volunteers from nonprofit and government agencies dedicated to protecting children from unintentional injury-- the number one cause of death to children in the United States. Safe Kids coalitions include dedicated volunteers – nurses, police officers, firefighters, paramedics, doctors, parents, grandparents, and more – who share one common goal: keeping kids safe.
