We are excited to officially welcome Vanessa Walsh as the new Head Girls Basketball Coach for the Big Sky Eagles! 🦅🏀

Coach Walsh was born and raised in Helena, Montana, where she attended Helena High School and competed as a multi-sport athlete throughout all four years. Following high school, she continued her basketball career at Montana Technological University before moving to Missoula to complete her education degree.

Vanessa began her coaching journey in 2021 as a volunteer with the Hellgate High School Girls Basketball program. In 2022, she accepted the Head Volleyball Coach position at Loyola Sacred Heart High School, where she has spent the past four years helping lead and develop student-athletes both on and off the court. During her time at Loyola, she also served as an assistant coach for the girls basketball program.

“I am beyond excited at the opportunity to lead the Lady Eagles and motivated to get into the gym to work with the girls! Go Eagles!”

Open gyms will begin Monday, May 18th at 7 PM in the aux gym. Open gyms for the summer will be Mondays and Wednesdays 7-8:30 in the aux gym.
