Archives and Special Collections has a new exhibit on display in the Theta Rho room on the 4th floor. The Flora of Montana features the native plant life of Montana and the botanists who collected them. Stop by and see the exhibit, and a special thanks to the University of Montana Herbarium for providing images of specimens in their collections.

The deadline for study carrel applications has been extended! Grad students, add your name to the hat for a semester-long study carrel checkout by 5pm on August 24th ✨

15 study carrels on Level 1 and one accessible carrel on Level 2 are available now. Assignments will be made at random by lottery. All carrels include a chair, desk, overhead light, and a power outlet - perfect for stashing your (checked out) books and locking in to work on your thesis πŸ“šπŸ’‘πŸ˜Ž

"Fire on the Hills" is the newest addition to Archives and Special Collections. This artist's book combines text by David Strohmaier, a Missoula resident and former wildland firefighter who holds a Master of Science in Environmental Studies from UM, with artwork by Rik Olson, a Northern California-based artist known for his mastery of traditional printmaking techniques.
