The UM Advocates is a student group that is dedicated to the needs of the student through the transition process from high school to college, small setting to larger setting, and any other questions that they may have regarding college. Our group is made up of just around 50 members and all are students that come from different backgrounds and yield unique perspectives and experiences that help make this group a microcosm of information that someone can relate to.

Students, their parents and families are invited to peruse the iconic BEAR Fair (Be Educational, Active and Recreational), where you have the opportunity to learn about more than 90 different student groups, academic departments, and support services!

Yesterday, advocates and new students departed to the Flathead Lake Biological Station for a 3-day trip exploring UM’s world-class freshwater research and education facility! This is the sixth year we have had the opportunity to hold this pre-BSE Trip.
