Holiday Help for Sentinel Families: Each holiday season, the Sentinel community collects donations to help brighten the holidays for Sentinel families in need. Again this year, we are raising money to purchase gift cards for food assistance from local grocery stores. If you would like to contribute, please make donations out to the “Sentinel Holiday Fund” and give them to Alesia Randall in the front office by December 21st.

Attention incoming Freshman and parents! There will be an open house tonight @ 5:00 pm. You will meet in the Theatre and Ms. Gibson will give you some awesome information for next year. At 5:15-6:00 you may tour the building with our Spartan Ambassadors, go to the Main Gym and check out activities and sports or meet some teachers and ask questions! We'd love to see you there.

Sentinel would like to congratulate these Seniors who have either won a Montana University System Honors Scholarship to any MUS college or are being recognized as a National Merit Scholarship Finalist.

Sentinel's Brooke Stayner, Chase Williams are 2022 KPAX Sports Awards winners Both Brooke and Chase will receive $1,000 scholarships to the schools of their choice. For Brooke, that'll be right here in town at the University of Montana where she'll compete in track and field, while Chase is headed east to MIT where he will also play on the football team.

We are now working with the Good Food Store! Next time you're there tell the cashier you'd like your purchase to count towards Sentinel High school when you check out and we'll get donations! Go Spartans!

Be sure to join us for our Drama Departments production of Neil Simon's Fool. Performances are Thursday April 14, Friday April 15, and Saturday April 16 at 7:30pm in the MJT.

The play is a comedy and appropriate for younger audience members. Here is a summary:

Fools is a comic fable by Neil Simon, set in the small village of Kulyenchikov, Ukraine, during the late 19th century. The story follows Leon Steponovich Tolchinsky, a schoolteacher who takes a new job educating Sophia, the daughter of Dr. Zubritsky and his wife, Lenya. Leon soon learns that there is a curse on the village that makes everyone stupid, but complications ensue when Leon falls in love with his pupil.

More excellent news to report on Sentinel Students! Congratulations to Tim Walters Technical computer Applications and Ethan Braun Technical Drafting for taking 1st place in their categories. Both of these students are moving on to nationals in June in Atlanta. These students brought home more than 27k in scholarships and prizes. This is a testament of Sentinel's excellent CTE programs.

We wanted let you know how well the District Robotics team did in Boise. They finished 3rd overall out of 28 teams, an excellent accomplishment. The team received the Woodie Flowers Award and the Entrepreneurship Business Award as well. They were the only Montana Team there and they represented Missoula well! We are very proud of their accomplishments.
