UM Campus Dining Garden In 2011, University of Montana Campus Dining and the Farm to College Program started the UMD Garden.
The garden is run by student workers and volunteers. Produce is grown and harvested for Campus Dining use in the Food Zoo and catered events. The UMCD Garden provides hands-on experience for students looking to learn more about how to grown organic produce in a local, sustainable way. Campus chefs present the students with lists of preferred produce plus menus, which the students then use to plan
