University of Montana Institute for Early Childhood Education recognized some of the Arlee Schools educators and UM researchers (Dr. Sun and Dr. Goforth) who have been developing a curriculum to teach students about relationship, reciprocity, resilience, reverance, and respect.
Young children deserve a culturally-grounded, place based program that helps them connect with others and learn important skills. The wonderful educators and community members in Arlee care deeply about their children. It's an honor to work alongside them.

Undergraduate research assistant Riley Crews received an INBRE summer scholarship under supervision of Dr. Goforth. Her scholarship supported her full time research looking at teachers' confidence and student social-emotional learning outcomes. She shared her work at MSU in Bozeman last week!
