Current undergraduates! If you have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, you should join Lambda Pi Eta, the Communication Studies Honor Society.

It’s an excellent way to get to know other COMX students, do some fun activities (the annual pumpkin party is legendary), and start building your professional network.

Our first meeting is this Thursday, Sept. 18 at 4 pm in LA205.

LPH alumni extra credit: what do the Greek letters Lambda Pi Eta represent? Put your answer in the comments!

Whether they graduated in 1974, 2024, or anytime between or beyond, our alumni regularly tell us that they use their degree every day of their lives. We give our students cutting-edge knowledge about how communication works, and help them build stories of success in all areas of their life.

Now you can be part of our story, and those of our future alumni.

The Big Give happens on March 5-6. Please consider supporting us and joining the stories of so many of our great alumni.

Winter pep-rally fun with the COMX department. In between two Griz-Cat basketball games, the campus was “ablaze” with activity.

In the UC, the COMX department set up a table for people to stop by to “let us help you phrase that.” We met so many great community members!

Outside, people were ice skating, enjoying the snow huts and beer garden, warming up at a giant bonfire, and enjoying the fireworks.

The National Communication Association conference is about to begin in New Orleans, LA. We’re excited! If you are also attending or are an alum who happens to live in the area, please join our faculty and alumni at 4pm this Friday (11/22) at Backspace Bar and Kitchen in the French Quarter. We would love to catch up with you there!
