As a parent, I am passionate about prioritizing school safety, improving inclusion, and equity in our schools for all children, and empowering more youth voice. That’s why I am excited to announce my official ballot for the MCPS school board.

I believe I bring a unique perspective to the table, having worked for the Montana Safe School Center, extensive knowledge of brain development and the impacts of stress, and lived experience as a single mom and blended family. As a person of color, I understand the importance of bringing diverse perspectives to the table.

My platform is centered around improving the lives of all children in our community. I am committed to prioritizing safety, inclusion, and equity in our schools and empowering youth voice. With my experience working for the Office of Public Instruction and numerous nonprofits, I understand how to stretch a dollar and be creative with budgets.

I am excited to work collaboratively with the community to create positive change for our children’s futures. Let’s work together to create a better tomorrow for all children.

I love sharing my knowledge with others especially when helps improve safety for Montana’s students and staff.

I hope to improve safety measures within MCPS and making sure we aren’t causing more stress for students, parents and staff.

When Jenny Walsh and I attended the school board meeting on Tuesday, we enjoyed hearing a brave student give public comment. I believe student voice is so impactful and imperative.

When elected to MCPS school board, I will always make time to hear any student’s voice.

Ballots will be arriving April 17th and due May 7th.

Jenny Walsh understands the importance of early childhood education which makes her an amazing candidate. Together we can bring a wealth of knowledge to the MCPS School Board!

From birth to 5 years old, children’s brains develop connections faster than at any other time in their lives.

During this time, Early Childhood Education helps children build a solid foundation for lifelong learning and longterm wellbeing - that’s good for them, their families, and our community.

I attended the Early Childhood Education Summit this week and was so impressed by all of the good work being done in and around Missoula to give our kids the leg up they deserve. 👏🏻🎉

Every child should feel safe at their school.

I love working for the Montana Safe School Center, as the Training and Technical Assistance Specialist. My position allows me to work with Montana schools on helping to create or improve safety for both students and staff.

I hope to lend my knowledge and expertise to the MCPS school board.

Jenny Walsh and I were invited to attend the amazing group of Missoula Moms Demand Action last night.

They are doing such great work at keeping our kids safe and I am honored to join the group. Thank you for making a difference!
