The University of Montana in Missoula is nestled in the hub of the five-valleys with two wild and free rivers flowing through the cultural and economic center of western Montana. The beautiful campus is bordered by the Clark Fork River and is located two-miles above the confluence with the Bitterroot River. The University of Montana chapter of Golden Key was chartered in April of 1993 as part of R
egion 6. This region includes schools in Colorado, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Utah, and Wyoming. Along with the benefits of living in the beautiful Northwest, Golden Key membership also includes opportunities to be involved on and off of campus in several service and literacy projects including the annual Proverello toiletry drive, Clark Fork River Clean-up day and the Better World Book Drive. Golden Key members strive for high academic standards and are involved in service to their community and tackle the responsibilities that come with leadership. This chapter reaches for the highest level of performance -- Gold Standard. We invite all eligible students to take on the rewards of membership in our selective group.
