Waldorf education is the fastest growing dimension of alternative schooling happening in our country. There are roughly 200 Waldorf Schools within the private sector and roughly 100 more in the public charter realm. With the rise of testing, integration of technology within the public schools and the unescapable amount of pressure children currently face in schools today, a Waldorf School can offer a softer and more practical approach to education that keeps children engaged and aware of their learning. Students have the opportunity to learn in a loving environment, without technological distractions of the modern world, from a class teacher they have had the opportunity to build a relationship with over many years. This allows the feeling of the school to be warm and intrinsically inviting; a Waldorf School is a place where children feel at ease and comfortable to take artistic and academic risks. Waldorf schools are highly successful at not only preparing students for the rigor of high school, but also preparing them for the creative critical thinking asked for throughout education and future careers in students' future.

Currently, the state of Montana does not have a Waldorf School. This is where The Greenleaf School comes in. The programs offered are run by trained and certified Waldorf Teachers, using their knowledge of the direct indications outlined throughWaldorf Education to provide a true, authentic and inviting environment for children and caregivers. Currently we are offering a Parent & Child Program, with hopes to expand to a Waldorf-Inspired Preschool after the New Year.
