Join presenter Kallie Moore as she takes us on a journey through the expansive Paleontology Center at the University of Montana (UMPC). The center's origins trace back to 1898, when student Earl Douglass began collecting fossils, later discovering the fossil beds in Utah that would evolve into Dinosaur National Monument. Since that initial collection, the UMPC has expanded to house an impressive 40,000 specimens that showcase the ancient history of North America and twenty additional countries. The Clash of the Ash delves into one of the oldest and quickest field sports in the world: the Irish game of hurling, also known as iománaíocht.
