CAVIN PITERA AND QUINN SYBERT AT SAE NATIONAL CONVENTION, ALONG WITH ALUMNI JIM MOUNTAIN: Cavin and Quinn are in Des Moines IA right now attending the SAE Convention representing Montana Beta! I wanted to thank them for taking time out of their summer to further their education with SAE, and for bringing all that information back to Missoula to share with all the members! While there they met up with Montana Beta Alumni, Jim Mountain ('81), who also serves on the National Board for SAE. Thank you and Phi Alpha, Gentlemen!

SAE was working with the Missoula YWCA today by helping them move to their new location! Great group work done by all the members, and an even better feeling of helping out the YWCA by taking over some of the work load for them!

Last night’s InterFraternity Council (IFC) elections went well! Brothers Aidan and Cole both got elected into positions. Aidan is the VP of Community Relations (Public Relations) and Cole is VP of Recruitment on the IFC board. Congrats guys!

Brother McAlpine beat the rest of the brothers to the front walk early Saturday... to shovel. The rest of the brothers took the liberty of shoveling the parking lot after. A neighbor told us that he appreciated it, he walks University Avenue often and can’t remember the last winter the sidewalks were shoveled.

Today SAE went around the University District raking leaves for our neighbors! 5 of our neighbors yards are now beautifully raked thanks to our awesome brothers!! Brother Aidan made a big bowl of delicious chili for dinner after we concluded raking! Good times in the neighborhood.

Yesterday we got in our new backboard for the house because brother Aidan Shaq’d the last one and shattered it! Today we enjoyed some hoops on the new one, and then was surprised by our Theta friends down the street with a whole bunch of Buffalo Chicken Wings and Mac and Cheese from their excellent cook! Always appreciate these acts of kindness!
Just wanted to push out a THANK YOU to Scott and Ann Kenops ('88) for their very kind and thoughtful gesture of sending the guys at 1120 Gerald 6 large pizza's the other evening! I know the guys chowed and have expressed how cool it has been for them to experience our alumni's kindness and generosity! Sometimes its the little things that go a long way and a care package of pies certainly did that! ΦA
