This spring, students in the University of Montana College of Business course BMGT 403: Advanced Topics in Sports and Entertainment Management brought event production to life through hands-on final projects planned and executed from start to finish.
One standout event was a Lilith Fair Tribute Concert held outside the Gallagher Business Building, celebrating women in music, leadership, and creativity while showcasing talented local artists and supporting the Missoula YWCA.
Led by students Chae Clearwood and Grace Simonich, the project combined event management, marketing, teamwork, networking, and live production, to give students valuable real-world experience while creating a meaningful community event.
At the UM College of Business, experiential learning is at the heart of what we do, empowering students to apply their skills beyond the classroom and create experiences that make an impact.

🎓Many University of Montana seniors are preparing to graduate this week. One of them, Liam Edwards, from the small town of Chinook, packed so much into his four years of college, it seems a minor miracle he will graduate on time.
