In order to serve our community better, we have created a monthly newsletter!
We have found that not all of our information fits on our calendar, and when we make little flyers for everything we have information out there but it’s not all in one place. Our newsletter will focus on communicating about all the resources, activities, and events…all in one, easy to find spot. We will also share about our staff, give book or recipe recommendations, or other fun things when space allows. But our goal is to have everything on one page- so whether you’re viewing online, or grabbing one in EmPower Place, there isn’t too much information to sort through. On the back you’ll find our calendar and list of events for the month.
If you would like to receive this directly to your inbox each month so you don’t miss anything, you can subscribe here: https://mailchi.mp/missoulafoodbank/vmqce7jzc4

Our monthly calendar gives you an idea of what kind of fun is happening each month. In addition to our regular programming (a special art project with Pam each Monday, early learning with Amber every Tuesday morning- even when it’s not in the calendar, science with spectrUM and Tiny Tales with the library, silly story time with Kevin on Friday…) we also have awesome special activities every Monday. This week we had green eggs and ham and other Dr Seuss themed fun. Next week we are doing a teddy bear sleepover. Then we have SpongeBob week, which will include a SpongeBob cooking class!
And of course stop in any time just to play and hang out.
EmPower Place is free and open to the community for children and caregivers to come by to play, learn, build community, and eat some food.
We are open M T Th 10am-6pm. W F 10am-1pm. Meals are served after school on M T and Th, or all day on days MCPS doesn’t have school.
