Montana Basketball is hosting the Anthony Johnson tribute game this Saturday at 7 pm against South Dakota. Johnson passed away unexpectedly in November.
Johnson and his wife and former Lady Griz basketball player, Shaunte Nance-Johnson, have been supporters of UM’s autism inclusion and programming efforts led by our very own Dr. Jennifer Schoffer Closson. You can celebrate the life of Johnson at the game, and also by donating to UM autism inclusion and programming efforts (which supports programs like MOSSAIC and YETI) at the link in our bio.
We’re sending love and gratitude to Shaunte and their three kiddos, with a particular shoutout to Apollo-Kahn, described in a recent SupportUM article as a “brilliant autistic 6-year-old.”
