Had an amazing and successful first day of the Winterfest Swim Meet! A ton of volunteers, friends and family came to help out, and we wouldn't have pulled it off without all their support. Karl Stetson and several High School Team swimmers helped guard the meet when we were extremely short on staff. Seeing Frederick Stetson's legacy for supporting the aquatics program continue in the next generation was very special. Thanks to all who came out and cheered on these bright young swimmers.

This group of super heroes spent the evening practicing… well, they practiced being super heroes! It takes a lot of courage to be a Lifeguard.
“The mental and physical demands of lifeguarding require a high level of emotional resiliency and commitment to undertake rigorous physical training.” Int J Emerg Ment Health 2017, Vol 19(4): 379
