Final night at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival. Watched the premiere of "And We Were Young", directed by Missoula local Andy Smetanka. Andy animated the World War I epic by using paper silhouette cutouts, light-box backdrops and a Super 8 camera. He worked on the project over 3 long years, producing 250,000 individual frames. Amazing!
