We have been receiving several samples of evergreen trees and shrubs with symptoms of winter injury. Symptoms include browning needles and branches. These symptoms can appear without warning in the spring, and can seem very alarming, though many trees will often grow out of it. See the MSU Urban Alert at the link below for details.

Montana State University (MSU) Extension is conducting a needs assessment to gather feedback from community members to learn about community needs and inform and improve our programs. Please join us for a local listening session, Thursday, May 19th at 6pm at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds Exhibit Building #1 located at 901 N.
