This group accomplished so much this week: finishing brain-tanned hides, building bows and arrows, coming face-to-face with a black bear, creating medicine bags, and, through it all, deepening their connection to, understanding of, and appreciation for the animals around them.

Working on hides this week. Braintanning, bark tanning, stretching, and smoking. Also delving into beadwork.
There has been an interest in building basic bows & arrows... which are starting to come together.

Starting up in fall, I'm offering a 4-Hour class every Thursday up at Marshall Mountain. 12-4pm. This is through Missoula Valley Forest School.
