**Make your own disinfectant to keep high-touch areas of your home clean.**

It's almost the holidays... many families will not get together this year, but for those that do, be sure to disinfect high-touch areas before, during, and after guests are in your home.

Carefully mix 1/2 tbsp (0.25 oz) 5% strength household bleach with 1.5 Cups (12 oz) water. Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) at 70-90% may also be used.

Clean surfaces with soap and water first to remove dirt.

Soak cloth or wipe in disinfectant and wipe from the cleanest to the dirtiest areas.

Ideally mix a new disinfectant daily, if there is extra store disinfectant in non-clean containers, out of direct sunlight, and in a well ventilated area.
