Today is the first day of our semester-long after school program 🌼 we are welcoming 11 girls into this beautiful container and we couldn’t be more proud of these girlies for being brave and showing up for this unfolding ✨

Through ceremony, plant wisdom, and nature-based self-care, we’re building a different way forward for the next generation of women, one Girls Circle at a time.

What places come to mind that remind you of your true self? ☀️

Have you spent time there repeatedly as the seasons and cycles of your life move through you?🍂

Heart Lake has been this place for me. I’ve come here during a snow storm and survival camped in a hammock. I’ve come here during immense heart ache and depletion. I’ve come with lightness and songs as I’ve soaked up the sun. ☀️

As cyclical bodies we are mirrors of nature. As they release, transform, find stillness, and bud anew- so do we.🪷

A profound nervous system regulation practice for me lately is calling to mind these places in my heart and breathing them into my body- their colors, the memories, the feeling of being there. 🪽

As we say goodbye to summer- may we keep these places in our hearts and remember that each season has its gifts.

For a cycling body- Luteul & Perimenopause represent inner-autumn. A time for gently releasing the fluff & what doesn’t serve you. Perhaps it’s choosing to refrain from a negative conversations, taking a deep breath instead of checking your phone, and telling a friend what they said hurt you. Setting kind boundaries so that our innner landscape feels supported and supple. 🌊

We offer programs for girls and the community that supports her and offer consistent parent sessions as a part of Girls Circle.

Perimenopause and puberty often go hand and hand and it’s so essential to deeply care for yourself to set a foundation for your girl. 💪

We facilitate a gentle threshold over the course of the school year that’s guided by community care, plant remembering, hands on crafting, song and movement. 🩸

Many girls reach adolescence without the knowledge, support, or culturally relevant resources needed to navigate the changes occurring in their bodies 🌼

Social stigma, gaps in education, and barriers to healthcare can leave young people feeling isolated and underprepared during critical stages of development 🩸

We’ve been working in partnership with Trina Fyant, Salish Native Plant Educator, since 2024 to bring culturally relevant education to Arlee Schools. We are working on offering these programs in several other schools in 26/27 and are hiring a CKST liason and educator to bring this mission forward. 🪽

Menstrual Health provides the foundation for mental and physical wellbeing across the life cycle yet it remains largely inaccessible, especially to the communities that need it most 🩸

Taboos, cultural gaps, and inadequate school curricula can lead to confusion, shame, and long-term impacts on emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing.

This is why we prioritize o­ur funding resources to offer free programs to Indigenous, refugee and low income youth in our greater community. ☀️

Our scholarship programs partner with the Confederate Salish and Kootenai Tribes and Soft Landing Missoula, prioritizing community-led knowledge sharing.

We are starting a new program with the Salish Language School, Nkwusm, in Arlee, Montana this Fall and are asking our community to consider making any donation- small or large to support this expansion 🙏

I am here to tell you- healing is possible and it’s not meant to be done alone🪽

When I talk with women about unlearning how we’ve related to our minds and bodies, one of the biggest barriers to health is access to care and understanding a path forward. The truth is Holistic, preventative health that should be the foundation of our health care system is still an out of pocket expense and is largely inaccessible to the majority of us.

As a single small business owner who at times was unable to work due to my health, I am eternally grateful for the following support as I continue to find more ease in my body :

Girls Circle is a weekly after-school gathering in Missoula built around plant wisdom, nature connection, and ceremony, where girls learn to understand their own cycles rather than getting lost in the unknown.

📅 Thursdays 2:45-5pm, starting October 1st
👧 Ages 10-14
