We are excited to feature Stories of Leadership, Contribution, and Excellence (SLCE)! 🎉

Meet Rickea Atkins! Rickea interned with both DHL and Nike this summer, traveling to multiple sites across the Dallas-Fort Worth region, including LEGO, Kohler, and Carhartt. Throughout the internship, she gained hands-on experience in supply chain operations and collaborated on a project to digitize the audit process at one of their sites. Her group concluded the summer by presenting their project at DHL North America Supply Chain’s headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Rickea shared, “I’m incredibly grateful for the experience, the mentorship, and the opportunity to learn from so many talented professionals.”

Rickea is also a student assistant within SLCE and will shift to a graduate assistant role in the spring of 2027.

✨ Montgomery Leadership Program Showcase (Part Two) ✨
On April 16, we celebrated the power of purpose-driven leadership at the Montgomery Leadership Program Showcase. Our twelve MLP Capstone Scholars proudly presented their capstone projects—CarniVal for All, Oktibbeha County Humane Society Beautification Project, and the Career Code Collective.

In addition to capstone presentations, our twenty-five first-semester MLP Scholars showcased individual research projects, laying the foundation for a strong and impactful capstone semester ahead. We are so proud of the commitment, creativity, and heart these scholars bring to service.
