Back in June, many of our students attended the Mississippi FFA State Convention. We had a few receive their American State Degree this year, where they will get recognized on the national stage in Indianapolis later this fall. Many others served on convention staff this year in many roles from the media team, to backstage and slideshows. One of our students also retired from serving as the 2025-2026 State President! We are beyond proud of these students and cannot wait to kickstart another great semester!🥳

Happy Friday!! Our last student teacher we are highlighting is Regan Hand. She is currently placed at Brandon Middle and High School with her mentor teacher, Ms. Boatner. We are so proud of each of these 2026 graduates and cannot wait to see them become new leaders in this industry. Congratulations grads! 🎓🎉

🌱 SAMUEL GRANGER🌱

Throughout this week, we will be highlighting our hardworking student teachers as they complete their final semester under their mentor teachers. Soon they will start their career as agricultural educators, teaching the next generation of leaders! 🦉

🐾MSU Undergraduate Research Symposium🐾

We had two of our Ag Ed students share their knowledge and research at the Undergraduate Symposium this week. Ariana Neal and Sydney Baker showcased their research in technology in the classroom and the perceptions of virtual reality. We also had Riley Smallen, who is also a bright student in the College of Agriculture, share her studies as well. We are so proud of each of these students and wish them the best as they move forward with their education.
