We hope you and your loved ones are safe after the continuous rains. After conducting an evaluation of our campus, we have made the decision to resume classes at IDEA Palmview tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17th at our regular time. All school and campus operations will continue as scheduled with student drop-off beginning promptly at 7:30AM. While our communities continue to deal with the aftermath of the rains, it is important for students to return to school and remain safe, comfortable, and focused on learning. 🚨School Closure for Summer School Families!🚨

Attention IDEA Palmview Team & Family, student and staff safety is our top priority. We are continuing to closely monitor weather conditions across Rio Grande Valley this evening as the heavy rainfall and flooding approaches. Our campus will be closed for Summer School Tuesday, June 16, 2026 and will re-open and operate on a normal schedule on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. We will continue to monitor weather conditions and update staff and families as needed. We encourage you to continue to check IDEA social media pages and REMIND for more information and updates regarding inclement weather.
