ππ¬ Afterschool Science & Journal Time! βοΈπ¦
Today, our afterschoolers had a blast participating in a Sink and Float Experiment! The children explored a variety of objects, made predictions about whether each item would sink or float, and then tested their ideas in water. π
This hands-on science activity encouraged:
πΉ Critical Thinking
πΉ Observation Skills
πΉ Problem Solving
πΉ Scientific Exploration
πΉ Curiosity and Discovery
The students loved making predictions, testing their theories, and discussing why some objects sank while others floated. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn through play and exploration! π§ β¨
π Daily Journal Time:
Our students also worked on their daily journals, expressing their thoughts and ideas through drawing and writing. Journaling helps strengthen early literacy skills, creativity, self-expression, and fine motor development. We are so proud of their hard work and growing confidence! β€οΈ
