Hi ! Everyone! Eagles Nest is closed but there’s a new daycare there as Reading Rainbow Academy. They are hiring caregivers with experience, a cook with Food Handlers certificate and Driver with a current Texas License. Also they are CCS providers. Classrooms are nice and big and enrollment is open ! The center is blocks away from Marcell,Pearson, O Grady, Leal and Idea schools, and Mission High for those of you who are teachers! Dear Community and Facebook friends, I closed Eagle’s Nest Day Care after 46 years of service to Mission. The building has been leased and the owner has given this building a facelift and no longer looks like Eagles Nest. I highly recommend Reading Rainbows Acedemy. it’s new and fresh with many learning resources and opportunities for your children! Give them a call 956-534-5315!

It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that Eagle's Nest Day Care Center will be permanently closing its doors effective Friday, March 4, 2022. Silvestre and Rebecca Asebedo established this center in 1977 when there were no other child care centers except for Mrs. Reed and Agape Christian School. My sister known as Teacher Nora (Cerda) along with my siblings Neva Jimenez and Silvestre Jr. helped with the business in the earlier years. I took over as director in 1993 to present. This family has served this community for the past 45 years. As the present owner/director, I would like to thank my current Child Care parents and the past parents, friends, relatives, community, the City of Mission and Mission CISD and State and Federal Agencies for their support throughout all the years in operation. Eagle's Nest has been known as a quality care center with educational and family values. We have graduated children who have excelled in successful careers and some have also ventured into their own Child Care Centers. It was a difficult decision to make; however, the time has come for me to retire and enter a new chapter in my life.
Thanks again, we would like to thank everyone , past and present , who have helped make Eagle's Nest a successful center for the past 45 years.

On Monday night , we had our Christmas party and exchange of gifts. I presented two of my staff with Recognition Awards for their service, dedication and commitment to Eagles Nest. Rosie Herrera, my Center Manager received an award for 9 years of service and Griselda Moreno, infant caregiver, received her 14 year service award. She will be greatly missed as she is retiring. I was given a very special gift by one of my staff , Abby. Loved it! Merry Christmas and a special thank you to our parents who have supported us through this pandemic! 🌲🌲❤️

We do our best to keep your children safe but we need help from you too because COVID 19 is attacking our children. Now it’s up to you to make it safe !
