Mr. Lopez’s class enjoyed a spooktacular visit to the library! Ms. Moreno kicked off the fun with a read-aloud of Boo, the Library Ghost! 📖👻

After the story, students created their very own ghosts and made them fly using static electricity! 🎈⚡ By blowing up balloons and rubbing them against their hair, they discovered how science can make their ghosts float and dance!

We wrapped up our library adventure with some deliciously gooey marshmallow ghosts! 👻🍬

The greatest lunch crew on Earth is right here at Bentsen Elementary! ❤️🖤🐺

A BIG round of applause 👏👏👏 for our amazing CNS Crew, who work hard behind the scenes every single day to prepare delicious, nutritious meals for our Lobitos! 🍎🥪🥛

This week, they went above and beyond, transforming our cafeteria into a fun-filled circus experience with colorful decorations, creativity, and lots of love for our kiddos! 🎈🎠✨

Calling all creatives! 🐺🎨🖍️

Lloyd M. Bentsen Jr. Elementary invites all students to participate in the 25th Annual Red Ribbon Week Poster Contest!

🌟 Show off your artistic talents while spreading an important message about making healthy choices and living a drug-free life!

🏆 One 1st place winner will be selected from Bentsen Elementary to represent our school at the La Joya ISD District Poster Contest!

🚲 District 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will each receive a BICYCLE!

📅 Campus Deadline: Thursday, October 22, 2026

⏰ Time: 3:00 PM

📍 Submit posters to: Ms. Balderas in the Counselor’s Office.

Students had a fantastic time learning the basics of golf, practicing their swings, and developing important skills like patience, focus, and sportsmanship! 🌟👏🏼

Our 3rd Grade Lobos had a smashing good time during their tennis lessons! 🎾🌟 Students had the opportunity to learn new skills, practice coordination, and discover the excitement of tennis while staying active and having FUN! 💪🏼❤️

From learning how to hold a racket to practicing their swings, our young athletes showed great enthusiasm and determination! 👏🏼
