With more than 20 years of experience in education, including 16 years in campus leadership, Mr. Garcia brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and dedication to the Memorial Middle School community. 📚✨

Mr. Garcia earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas–Pan American and his master's degree from Lamar University. Throughout his career, he has served as a classroom teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, and district data and accountability administrator. His leadership has always centered on supporting teachers, strengthening instruction, and creating positive learning environments where students can succeed. 🌟

As the new leader of Memorial Middle School, Mr. Garcia is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and inclusivity. 🤝

He believes student success is achieved through strong partnerships between schools and families and is dedicated to being a visible, approachable leader for students, staff, and the community.

Today, we proudly celebrate Ms. Mary Morales-Alvarez and Ms. Dalia Aleman for their years of dedicated service to La Joya ISD. Their commitment, hard work, and impact on our students and campus community are truly appreciated.

It was a fun day filled with music, laughter, dancing, and time spent with friends as they celebrated all they’ve accomplished at Memorial Middle School. We are so proud of our Lobos and excited for all that’s ahead! 🐺💙

Today, Memorial Middle School welcomed future Lobos from Ann Richards Middle School for a fun day of team-building activities as we prepare to come together as one school community. Students enjoyed getting to know one another, participating in activities, and building excitement for the future ahead!

🏆✨ Today we celebrated our students during our Awards Assembly, recognizing their hard work, achievements, and dedication throughout the school year!

The celebration continued with our GT Showcase, where students proudly presented their projects and demonstrated their creativity, knowledge, and expertise. We are so proud of our students and all they have accomplished! ❤️🐺

📢Memorial Middle School families, today the campus fire alarm was activated, and students were safely evacuated as a precaution. The Fire Department responded immediately and assessed the situation. No fire or smoke was found, and the campus has been cleared to return to normal operations. Thank you for your patience and support.
