We are an authentic, boutique Montessori school serving children from 6 months to 6 years old. Mission Montessori is currently open.

We provide a nurturing environment, rooted in Christianity that fosters independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. We are committed to providing the safest possible environment for our children and staff while still maintaining a rewarding early learning experience. We have made numerous modifications and changes to our daily protocols including decreasing our class sizes, reducing our hours and implementing strict daily disinfecting procedures. Feel free to contact us directly to receive our most up to date health and safety guidelines. At Mission Montessori children discover a passion for learning and a joy for newly discovered independence as they work with others in the family-like community of a Montessori environment. The thoughtful, child-centered curriculum fosters self-motivation, confidence and empathy for one another. Children's hearts and minds are nurtured by providing a Christian foundation together with the Montessori philosophy.

Practical Life is the cornerstone of Montessori education. Children love to help and experience the real life activities that they see big people doing. Through purposeful, hands-on activities such as mirror polishing, food prep, sewing and plant care, children develop independence, concentration, coordination, and confidence. These everyday tasks help children care for themselves and their environment while building skills that support learning in every area of the classroom and in life!

This is an Easter art and practical life activity that one of our Montessori guides prepared for the classroom. Children return to it throughout the day, each taking a turn adding their own colored salt to the bottle and slowly building a beautiful sand rainbow together. 🌈
