If your horse takes pergolide (Prascend®), tomorrow (August 31) is the absolute final day to submit your data to the ECIR Group survey. ⏳
The issue we are fighting: Standard labeling caps the dose at 2 mg/day for horses and 0.5 mg/day for ponies. But real-world experience shows many horses need higher doses to safely control their hormones. Because of these rigid label limits, many veterinarians are naturally hesitant to prescribe more—leaving horses dangerously undertreated and at a high risk for laminitis. 🐴💔
