🎻 Teacher Spotlight: Karen Deaner, Cello ✨

Meet Karen Deaner! With years of teaching experience, Karen brings expertise, warmth, and a genuine passion for helping students discover the joy of playing the cello.

A graduate of the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music with a degree in Music Therapy and Cello, Karen has taught cello since 1995. She is trained in the Suzuki method and also offers traditional instruction, adapting lessons to each student’s needs and goals.

Karen’s students are encouraged to develop strong technique, confidence, musicality, and a lifelong love of music. Many also participate in the Certificate of Merit program.

Whether your student is taking their first steps on the cello or working toward new musical goals, Karen provides the guidance and encouragement to help them thrive. 🎶

🎻✨ Teacher Spotlight: Traci Minor, Violin ✨🎻

Traci loves helping students of all ages - from preschool beginners to advanced high school musicians - discover the joy of playing violin!

Suzuki trained with a Master’s in Music from USC, Traci teaches strong classical technique that supports beautiful playing in classical, folk, fiddle, and pop styles. She also helps students develop performance and audition skills for youth orchestras and college.

With extensive teaching and professional performance experience, Traci especially loves working with young children and creating opportunities for students to share their musical gifts through group classes and performances. ❤️🎶

✨ Teacher Spotlight: Erin Theodorakis ✨
Exceptional voices are built with expert guidance.

Erin Theodorakis brings an extraordinary combination of professional performance experience, advanced vocal training, and more than a decade of teaching expertise to her private voice studio.

With a Master’s degree in Operatic Voice Performance from The Shepherd School of Music at Rice University and degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education from Chapman University, Erin has performed on opera and concert stages and sings with the Grammy Award-winning Pacific Chorale. She also serves on the vocal music staff at Chapman University, San Juan Hills High School, and Tesoro High School, where she directs Titanium, Tesoro’s award-winning a ca****la ensemble.

Her approach goes beyond simply learning to sing. Erin teaches students how to develop healthy vocal technique, artistry, musicianship, confidence, and a deeper understanding of their instrument, creating a strong foundation for continued vocal growth and confident performance in all styles of vocal music. Her students have gone on to pursue music at NYU, UCLA, San Francisco Conservatory, Oklahoma City University, Chapman, and more.

🌟 Teacher Spotlight: Kjersten Damron 🎶

Kjersten loves meeting students where they are, building strong musical foundations, and helping them discover the music that inspires them. 🎵

Classically trained in piano and voice, she teaches a wide range of vocal styles with an emphasis on healthy, sustainable technique for long-term vocal growth. In piano, she develops strong aural skills, music reading, and musicality, giving students the tools to become confident, expressive musicians.

As Conservatory Director, Kjersten is passionate about creating an encouraging, collaborative community where musicians and artists can grow and connect. Her heart for teaching is rooted in helping students build confidence, develop their unique musical voice, and experience the lasting impact of music in their lives. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Business from Central Washington University, with studies in both piano and voice, and brings years of experience in performing, recording, writing, arranging, choral singing, directing, and teaching.
