Is it just me, or does traveling with littles feel SO overwhelming before you even leave the house?! ✈️🤍

I definitely had some anxiety leading up to our recent trip, and it turns out… I didn’t need nearly as much of it as I thought. The kids did SO well on the flight and have honestly been such a joy to travel with. 🥹

A little preparation goes a LONG way, though—especially when you’re traveling with babies + toddlers!

One thing I will NEVER regret when traveling with kids is overpacking the carry-on. 😂✈️

For the baby, I packed plenty of diapers (definitely more than I thought we’d need!), a full pack of wipes, and extra changes of clothes. I also packed a complete change of clothes for each of the older kids because between spills, snacks, bathroom accidents, and all the unexpected things that happen while traveling… I’d much rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

And let me tell you—SNACKS WERE THE GOAT. 😂👏🏼

I packed way more snacks than I thought we could possibly go through, and somehow my 17-month-old basically ate for the entire two-hour flight. And you know what? I fully supported it. 😂

Different snacks = something new to pull out, something to keep little hands busy, and a few extra minutes of entertainment. I packed a variety of easy, familiar favorites and brought them out little by little instead of handing everything over at once.

My biggest takeaway: when you think you’ve packed enough snacks for the flight… add a few more. 😂

Fed babies + prepared mamas = a much happier travel day. ✈️🤍

But with the right education, they don’t have to leave you feeling helpless.

My hope is that this carousel gives you the knowledge to stay calm, know what to do, and recognize when it’s time to seek emergency care.

One thing I always tell the families in my courses is this:

A medical emergency is scary—but facing one without the knowledge or tools to respond is even scarier.

Education isn’t meant to create fear. It’s meant to replace fear with confidence.

When we understand what’s happening, we’re better equipped to advocate for our children, make informed decisions, and care for them with confidence at home.
