A Flowing Spirit - Afternoon Tea
Soul Stories & Vision Boards
January 31 or February 8, 2025
2:00 – 5pm $40 per person

Join me for a delightful Winter Afternoon Tea and more! A cozy menu of tea sandwiches, scones, with clotted cream and fig jam and several small desserts including macaroons.
We will listen to soulful music; share some of our own stories and create a personal Vision Board. A collection of words, images, and other visuals and clippings, that help you to reflect on your desires, goals and things that you wish for this time in your life and creating a keepsake poster to take with you.
Reservations are limited to 12 at each seating. This year, my Spiritual Practice: will be working with a theme of "A Time For Believing." I look forward to being with you.

A devotional pamphlet is included with meanings for each symbol and several questions and prompts for going deeper. All packaged into a simple black box with string. This special devotional set with 6 different symbols offers prayerful reflection and prompts and has been designed to help you create or add to your altar and experience during this Lenten journey. It includes: small dove, bottle with soil and dust, wildflower seeds, bread crackers, LED votive candle, 3” crown of thorns, 2 ½ “ olive wood cross (made in Jerusalem), and a small burlap cloth.

Do You Know God?

26 February 2022,

Saturday, 9 am – 12:30 pm.

While this might sound like a funny thing to say; it is truly a question I feel is worth going deeper into. We often feel we know about God but what do we do to get to know God? How and who do we imagine God to be? How is that different from when you were younger? What kind of a relationship do you desire with God? These are some of the questions we will sit with and be in conversation about through quiet prayer, music, readings, and contemplation. Refreshments and materials provided.

Picturing God

Wednesday, 9 February 2022,

10 am – noon ON ZOOM
How do you imagine God to be? Do you picture God in the form of a human? Do you see God in nature? Does God feel like anything more than a picture? Can you describe it? This will be an interactive workshop where each of the participants will share several pictures that each have taken that picture God. I will be putting together a slide show of the pictures and we will spend time reflecting on them, having sacred conversation about them and centering prayer with them as our images of God. Cost: $25 (seniors/students $20)
