Writing the Digital Futures

Writing the Digital Futures Arts QLD funds this project delivering programs and events to change community & professional perceptions of storytelling & publishing in the digital age.

QUT is lucky enough to present a series of programs and public events about storytelling and publishing in the digital age. This Arts Queensland funded project brings together international knowledge and expertise in digital writing and will have an exciting transmedia storytelling focus. Writing the Digital Future will address issues facing both emerging and established writers. Exploring new wri

ting models such as transmedia storytelling will give writers the ability to think beyond traditional print and e-book publishing. Through this stimulating program QUT is working with the peak of writing organisations – Queensland Writer’s Centre, Brisbane Writer’s Festival and if:Book Australia – to augment their currents programs and deliver new programs. Collaboration from these well-renowned organisations will cement Queensland as a centre for innovation in the writing and publishing industry of Australia. Follow us on twitter
