Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are excited to share a volunteer opportunity available for our 10th and 11th grade students!

Students are invited to participate in a Volunteer Clean-Up at Buffalo Bayou Park on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM. This is a great chance for students to earn volunteer hours while giving back to the community. Please note that spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

A volunteer information packet is attached for you to review, which includes important details such as the waiver process and transportation requirements. Please be aware that transportation will not be provided, and students must be dropped off and picked up at 105 Sabine St. Houston TX 77007.

If your student signs up to volunteer, please notify Ms. Ponce so we can ensure they receive their official volunteer letter.

Exciting News!
We will be hosting an Info Session on April 16th for new parents interested in enrolling their children in KIPP Texas Public Schools, and we would love to see you there! I’ve attached the flyer with all the details so you can reserve your spot and learn more about our community.
Special Opportunities:
If you bring a referral that day, your name will be entered into a month-end drawing.
If your referral enrolls and is verified by the school, you will receive a FREE backpack with school supplies for each referral
