Today the 7th & 8th grade band and choir traveled south to Bradford, WI to perform in front of college judges for the Music in the Parks series. Both groups were not the full roster, but performed with the sound and quality we come to expect from our students.

Now the students are spending some much deserved time goofing around the grounds of Six Flags Great America, making memories they'll talk about long after they've graduated high school. Let's hear it for our amazing student musicians!

HUGE Update!

Out of all the middle school bands and choirs that performed today, both our band and choir students are taking home first place trophies! To sweeten this even more, the band took home overall first place for middle schools for the day as well!

The Music in the Parks series also has an Espirit De Corps Award. Esprit de corps is a French phrase that translates to "spirit of the body" or "spirit of the group". In English, it refers to the shared loyalty, camaraderie, and enthusiasm uniting the members of a group. It describes a collective pride in the organization and a dedication to its success. No judges give out this award. Instead, the staff and volunteers of the host school give this award to those that they believe embodies these principals over all others that day, high schools included. And your students earned that one too!

Mishicot Spring Band Concert Monday, May 4th at 6:30pm! Hope to see you all there!

🎶 What a fantastic week for our High School Band and Choir! 🎶

On April 28th and 29th, our talented students traveled to Roncalli High School to participate in a festival competition, where they performed for judges and had the opportunity to work with a guest clinician to further refine their skills.

Both groups represented our school with excellence, dedication, and pride. The Choir earned an overall score of 2 on their Class A pieces, while the Band achieved an outstanding score of 1 on their Class B performances!

We are incredibly proud of the hard work, growth, and musicianship shown by all of our students. Thank you to our directors and supporters who continue to make these opportunities possible.
