Only 6 Days to Go! Let’s Get Back Into the School Routine!

The first day of school is just around the corner—August 12, 2026—and now is the perfect time to help your child ease back into their school-day rhythm.

Here are a few simple ways to re-establish routines:
✅ Wake up at the same time each day
✅ Eat meals on a school-like schedule
✅ Plan outings where your child leaves and returns at “school day” times

These small steps can make a big difference in helping your child feel rested, confident, and ready to hit the ground running on day one!

📶 FREE STUDENT HOTSPOTS!

Citywide Classroom is partnering with School City of Mishawaka again to provide free hotspots to qualifying students for the 2026–2027 school year.

📲 Apply by scanning the QR code or visiting citywideclassroom.org/apply.

📝 Paper applications are also available in the LaSalle Elementary School office.

Once approved, hotspots will be shipped and delivered directly to LaSalle Elementary for pickup.

Important announcement from FRANKY’S TACOS South Bend: We’re supporting three local schools by hosting a Taco Bar to feed teachers and staff. This is our way of saying thank you for all they do. The drawing to select the winners will take place tomorrow, and we’ll stream a live video to announce the results. We’re excited to have special guests from FRANKY’S TACOS Bremen helping with the drawing. Good luck to everyone, and thank you for the continued support as we keep community service at the heart of FRANKY’S TACOS.
