The JWAS Foundation provides academic scholarships and leadership development programming to youth and their families in St. Joseph County, IN.

The mission of the Jaxson William Augustus Swank Foundation is to perpetuate Jaxson's loving memory by nurturing selected individuals educationally, emotionally, and socially from preschool through higher education in achieving their greatest potential while developing strong moral character as future leaders through our Trilogy of Care.

Guess what?! We are now accepting applications for our 2027 Jaxson Scholarship, and we can’t stop smiling about it! 😄

The Jaxson Scholarship is a full-ride academic scholarship to a private educational institution from preschool through higher education. 💛

Along with this incredible offering, the accepted Jaxson Scholars and their families become a part of the JWAS family - a group of supportive, collaborative, and inspirational individuals prioritizing education and community.

Additionally, JWAS provides customized leadership programming throughout the year to develop the minds, hearts, and spirits of our Jaxson Scholars and their families. ⭐️

For a child lost, a gift is given.

Last month, the JWAS Team took some time to focus on both professional development and team bonding! ❤️✨

We kicked things off with some friendly competition on the pickleball court, which was filled with lots of fun and laughter. 🏓 Congratulations to Chloe and Mary on the win! 👏 Jeanie and Sarah are already looking forward to the rematch! 😉

After pickleball, we gathered for a thoughtful discussion of the first half of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey, reflecting on lessons about personal responsibility, leadership, and effectiveness. 📚💡

As part of our Trilogy of Care, our men’s and women’s breakout groups give parents a space to connect, be open, and share what’s on their hearts. Through listening, encouraging, and growing together, our parents remind us of the beauty of community and connection. 🌟
